Audit Results

Once a link audit is completed, you will be able to review the results underneath each link.

Below are examples with detailed explanations of the result.

Example #1

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - The link is on the web page and do-follow

Everything is OK! You can sit back and relax knowing that this link is exactly as it should be!

Example #2

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - The link is present but the link text is different

Things are OK, the link is present, BUT the text used in the link is different from what you expect.

Example #3

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - There is a link on the web page with the same domain but the link URL is different

There is an issue with this link. The domain is the same, for example, yourwebsite.com but the full URL is not the same.

Example #4

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - The link is present but it is a no-follow link

There is an issue with this link. It is marked as "no-follow" which means the link might not be as powerful as a ‘do-follow’ link.

Example #5

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - The link could not be found on the web page

There is an issue with this link. It can not be found on the page as it is missing!

Example #6

Nov 30, 2009 15:29 - The web page was unreachable. The URL might be invalid, the website might be down, or there might be an internet connectivity issue.

We were not able to access the website to audit the links. Either there was an internet issue or this website is not allowing robots to visit it and it has blocked us.

If this happens consistently for your link but you can see the link on the page when you visit with your web browser, it might be that their website is blocking BacklinkTrack. In this case, please mark this contact for "manual audit" and periodically audit these links yourself.
